Wooden people of Yevgenia Kudrina's myths and fairy tales
Sorceresses, women who possess the fascinating, but a little bit gloomy mystery, inhabit the borders between our confused world and the transparent tundra of immortality, preserving the shades of the forgotten ancestors and of the spirits of the middle world.
You cannot just pass by, because they silently order you to stop and make you turn your face to them.
The time from shamans to Hoffman is curled up within them, it is twisted into the tight cop, into the cockle, into the space clot.
Short human grieves obtain features of eternity, when they are reflected in the wild faces, and the wrinkle of sorrow between narrow eyebrows falls into the crack of wood.
They are painted, they wear clothes and even shoes, sometimes they pretend that they are dolls, but they always keep zealous tensions, serious depth and power of wooden body.
They are not talkative, but they know enough about their sovereign Yevgenia Kudrina.. They witness strong nature, intense soul, inborn Knowledge of the subjects which one cannot be just taught.
